Post Horn and radio not working
On my 1970 Mach 1, the rim blow horn isn't working and neither is the radio. I can see a light behind the radio dial when I turn it on, but am getting no sound at all. Could these ailments be connected? The fuses are fine, but is there something else under the hood that these two items share that could have blown?

A little more information: It's an SCJ so both horns are on the passenger side of the radiator support. The horns are connected from the same power source. I can get either horn to work by disconnecting the other. There is a connection that looks to be the same colored wires sitting unused at the base of the radiator support. I thought maybe those wires would have been for the horn on the driver's side had this car been just a CJ.

Are the horns perhaps not working because they are connected by a single jumper wire from the first horn to the second?

That doesn't answer my radio issue. Could I have damaged the radio when I jump started the car when I first got it? The battery (one of those Autolite replicas that I later discovered aren't meant to be jumped) was dead flat from having sat idle on the ship for four months.

The dial light and radio are on different circuits.

The fuses, perhaps.

No. Your horns are weak, not inoperative. They are intended to work on 14V, so with the engine off, you'll be getting only 12V. This makes a difference. All the wire connectors from the firewall to the horn should be split and cleaned.
